Mandatory BMI Reporting

BMI REPORTING:   According to amended State regulations on the Physical Examination of School Children (105 CMR 200.00) enacted in February 2009, school districts are mandated to calculate and report directly and confidentially to each parent or legal guardian the Body Mass Index (BMI) and corresponding percentile of each student in grades 1, 4, 7 and 10.  Notification will be in the form of a confidential mailing and will take place in February.  If you have any questions please contact Julie Amaral, Nurse Leader at 508-894-1230 x127 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
