Delilah swam by the Rose L. today to visit with our second graders. Delilah is a life-sized inflatable North Atlantic Right Whale. Her measurements are based off of a real whale! They got to go inside the whale to learn all about its body and what it eats. They also looked at, and touched, real whale vertebrae and baleen (whale teeth). It was definitely a whale of a time! A big thank you to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation of Plymouth as well as the WBPTO for another amazing presentation!
