Today all students enjoyed the PTO sponsored program Prismatic Magic Holiday Laser Show! They met Squeaky the penguin and helped him fly south for the winter, even though penguins can’t fly! Through a series of challenges, the children helped Squeaky discover new ways to fly, including with a jetpack! They were amazed as they basked in the warm glow of seasonal colors while laser clowns, elephants, and crazy contraptions helped Squeaky reach his goal. They sang along to holiday classics “Let it Snow”, “Jingle Bell Rock”, and “Sleigh Ride”, as they gazed in awe at the animations all around them This was an amazing adventure!

Today...and every day...we are grateful for our military service personnel, past and present, and the families who support them!
Today the 3rd grade had a visit from Delilah, an Inflatable right whale who is 45ft long 15ft wide and 15ft tall! They got to go inside the whale to learn all about its body and what it eats. They also looked at, and touched, real whale vertebrae and baleen (whale teeth). Students then colored their own right whale picture, and named their whale. It was definitely a whale of a time!

TRUNK OR TREAT TODAY! Saturday, October 28th, the NHS will be sponsoring their TRUNK OR TREAT for children. It will take place in the MSHS school parking lot from 3-5 pm. A donation of $5 per child is appreciated. All proceeds will go to the NHS scholarships!
