Good afternoon WB Families,

I hope you have had a wonderful summer vacation.  We still have a few more weeks before we begin school but I wanted to reach out to you with some general information as we get ready to open school in two weeks.  As always, a lot is going on with our students, staff, and families over the summer break. We certainly miss seeing our students and staff in the buildings.  Thank you to all who have helped get the buildings ready to open.  It certainly takes a team effort and we want to thank our administrators, office staff, maintenance and custodial staff, and the food service staff.  Building principals will be reaching out to you with more specific school information about the start of school.

We are currently in the process of hiring a designer/architect who will work with us throughout the Feasibility Phase.  As we get into the school year, we will begin to have visioning sessions for our staff and community. This feedback will be an essential part of the project so we can work collaboratively to design the best options for our district. Our first Designer Selection Panel meeting is on August 13th and our second Designer Selection Panel meeting is set for Tuesday, August 27th at 8:30 am.   We are very excited to continue through the process and will be updating you throughout the year.
