The following message was sent to all WB Families and voice message sent to RLM Families:
Good afternoon Rose L MacDonald Families,
We wanted to you know that we did have some issues over the weekend at the school with loss of power and tree damage that took down some wires. The power has been restored to the building. Unfortunately, the phone lines and internet will not be fixed until tomorrow morning. We want to thank our maintenance and custodial staff and all who helped over the weekend to get the school ready for Monday.
If you need to contact the school please call 508-894-1242. This number is for the RLM main office. If for any reason you cannot get through you can call the Spring Street School at 508-894-1230. We hope that we will be fully operational and back to normal later in the morning.
All schools in the district will be open at the regularly scheduled time tomorrow.
Thank you and have a great night.
Mark Bodwell
Superintendent
West Bridgewater Public Schools

MSBA Announcement (This information was also sent to all WB families last week via email)
It is with great pleasure that on behalf of the West Bridgewater Schools we announce that the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) Board of Directors has voted to invite the Rose L. MacDonald School into the MSBA's Eligibility Period. The school district and the town will begin following the MSBA process and work to review our district's greatest needs and look at all possible educational options for school consolidations. We are looking forward to our partnership with the MSBA and to working collaboratively to do what is best for our students, staff, and community. West Bridgewater was one of 10 school districts in the state selected. Thank you to the West Bridgewater School Committee and the West Bridgewater Board of Selectmen for their support.
As a district, we are committed to an open and transparent process and will continue to update all stakeholders through emails, newsletters, and scheduled meetings such as School Committee meetings, Superintendent Coffee Hours as well as scheduled informational meetings. Here is the press release from the MSBA https://www.wbridgewaterschools.org/article/947260

NO SCHOOL TOMORROW
After gathering information from MEMA, National Grid and local safety staff and due to timing of the height of the predicted storm tomorrow morning with a forecast of high winds and heavy rains which could cause power outages, downed trees and power lines out of an abundance of caution I am canceling school tomorrow Friday, December 23rd. As always the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Have a great night

WB Polar Express - Here are a few more pictures of our K friends after reading them the story. Great job by all the educators who work with them everyday. The students all did such a wonderful job and enjoyed being at the MSHS for the event!
