Do you have a love for cooking and a favorite recipe?  Here is an opportunity to show it.  Buzzaround is having its 5th annual competition.  Submit your favorite recipe to www.Buzzaround.info by April 21st for a chance to wind a $30 gift certificate to a local farm stand of your choice!

Attention Juniors - Prom Tickets go on sale next week and will only be sold April 10th-April 14th during Powerblock. Tickets are $55/person or $110/couple and $45 class dues MUST be paid when purchasing your ticket. You will receive a Permission Slip that must be turned into Mr. Finley or Mrs. DeSimone by Monday April 24th. Remember that if you are going on the Europe trip - YOU MUST BUY YOUR TICKET ON APRIL 10th before leaving!

Looking for community service opportunities?  We have some for you! 

\r\n

The first:  A veteran is in need of setting up markers at town hall.  If you are available on Wednesday, April 5th and/or April 12th, please see Mrs. MacMillan in Guidance.

\r\n

The second community service opportunity is tutoring in math.  Again, if you are interested, please see Mrs. MacMillan.

\r\n

Lastly, River Walk is being held Sunday, June 4, from 10-2.   The WB River Walk Committee is looking for student volunteers.  Help is needed running activities (games, crafts, bouncy house, music, raffle/silent auction), setting up/breaking down, and other odds and ends jobs. You can earn up to 6 hours.  If you are interested, please see Mrs. MacMillan in Guidance to sign up or find out more information.

The Wildcat cafe is serving Nuggets and noodles, pizza crunchers, and BBQ pulled pork and today for lunch along with a variety of freshly made wraps and salads. The featured grab and go this week is chicken bacon ranch and a spicy version with pepperjack cheese. 

\r\n

Sausage wrapped in pancake with tots, soft pretzels, caramel apple nachos, smoothies, assorted pastries, egg sandwiches, uncrustables and the snack rack are available at break.

\r\n

The WBYAA is seeking up to 5 NHS student volunteers to work the window of the snack shack at the WB baseball fields periodically through the baseball season (starting 4/24 through early July).  The hours would be 5:45pm to 8/8:30pm.  Please contact jaimeconnor20@gmail.com with your availability, if interested.  Thank you.  This is a great opportunity for seniors in need of meeting the community service requirement.

The WBYAA Field Day will be held on Saturday, April 29th and they are looking for about 25 volunteers to assist them.  They are looking for student volunteers who can help with raffles, the snack shack, and clean up.   They are looking for a student who would like to be the wildcat mascot to march in the parade. Lastly, they are looking for someone to sing the National Anthem or a band performance. Please contact coachgrew@gmail.com if interested.
