Are you interested in playing and getting better at chess? Then you should join the Chess Club. The first meeting will take place in the Learning Commons on Friday the 22nd at powerblock. All grades 7-12 are welcome. See or email Jamie Sheedy, Noah Schneeweis and Derek Cashman with any questions.

There will be a brief Video Club informational meeting today after school in the TV Studio. The Video Club is open to all students grades 7-12. We will explore your interests in the video/film industry - no experience necessary!

\r\n

Any student in grades 7-12 who would like to be on the principal’s council please stop by the office to sign up.  We will hold a high school group and a middle school group.

\r\n

Attention Gardening Club!  We are ready to roll this Wednesday with our first meeting during Powerblock.  Meet in the Orange Commons.  New members welcome.  See Ms. Fougere or Rachel Lebaron with any questions.

The Next Photo Club meeting will be Tuesday after school in room 202. Any interested High School Students are welcome to attend the meeting. Please see Mr. Ennis with any Questions.

Attention High School students - if you enjoy learning about other cultures, travel, food languages and world events, the Global Citizens Club is looking for new members Global Citizens Club looks to better understand our world by exploring other cultures both in our school and outside it, while educating others about the people, beliefs and practices around the world. Our first meeting will be this Thursday at Powerblock in the Orange Commons - please see Mr. Ennis or Ms. Fougere for a pass.

Are you fascinated by technology, automation, and innovation? Do you dream of building robots that can solve real-world problems? If so, we invite you to join the Robotics Club for high school students. No prior experience is necessary - just bring your creativity and problem solving skills. Our first meeting will be on Monday, September 18th after school in the Robotics room! Got questions? Ask Ms. Brennan!

Attention all members of the Spanish Honor Society. Our first monthly meeting of the year will be on Wednesday, September 27th at 7:10am in Room 114. All members are expected to attend. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Señora Oliveira.

Calling all gamers in grades 8 to 12! Join us for the most epic power block meeting of the season. Showcase your game play, make new friends who share your passion, and be a part of something truly extraordinary.  Compete in Rocket League, Smash Bros and League of Legends. Improve your skills. No need to be an expert! Practices will work around your sports schedule and get you in shape. Come to the computer lab on Monday during power block to learn more. This is the event you won't want to miss.

Any sophomore, junior, or senior interested in purchasing a class ring can pick up a ring information packet and order form from Mr. Winchell in Room 215.  Class ring orders will be taken on Thursday, September 21st from 5:00-6:30pm in the lobby and during lunches on Friday, September 22nd.

Looking for a seasonal job?  Jordan’s Furniture is hiring for their Enchanted Village.  They are having two hiring events:  September 26th and October 2nd.  If you are interested, more information is available in Guidance.

Students who are interested in taking the PSAT exam must inform Mrs. MacMillan in Guidance today.  Payment must be made by September 22nd.

\r\n

Free breakfast is available daily before the bell and at the mid-morning break. Important! students getting breakfast before the bell will need to pay for any additional food at break time.

\r\n

Today’s featured hot breakfast is a funnel cake with powdered sugar. Other choices include a variety of pastries, soft pretzels, uncrustables, assorted breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, caramel apple nachos and the “pick 2” snack rack. For cereal lovers, check out the new speedy cereal display in front of the milk chest that includes everyone’s favorites including Special K and Kashi.

Hot lunch entrees today are chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, burgers and Big Daddy’s pizza. Freshly made grab and go’s include chicken caesar salads and wraps, Buffalo chicken wraps, vegetarian mediterranean wraps and a Quinoa salad, bagels w/ yogurt, turkey and ham subs and uncrustables.
