Valentine's Day is coming up quick and the Gardening Club is teaming up with student council for a unique fundraiser. Here’s Madi to tell us more.
Juniors and sophomores, are you looking for a fun and energetic class? Sign up for Group Fitness! Have you ever thought about taking martial arts? Come learn the basics while getting a workout in at the same time! Do you love Just Dance, or ever thought about signing up for Les Mills or Bodi? Group Fitness has all of this and more! Make sure to sign up when choosing your classes for next year!!!
An email was sent out to any senior who has not filled out the link for ordering your graduation gown. If you do not complete this small task by Friday, you will lose privileges starting next week. Please check your email and see if you are one of the individuals who received this reminder.
Congratulations to Molly Mischley for being accepted into the SEMSBA festival chorus after a successful audition this past weekend! Molly will perform with other talented singers from around southeastern Massachusetts at the festival in March. Also, shout out to Sydney Zuendt who also wonderfully represented the West Bridgewater music department at SEMSBA this weekend!
Students will be called to the auditorium during powerblock the week of February 12th to discuss course selections. Please make note of the following dates:
Current Juniors - PB meeting will be held on Monday, 2/12/24
Current Freshmen & Sophomores - PB meeting will be held on Tuesday, 2/13/24
Current Grade 8 PB meeting will be held on Thursday, 2/15/24
A message from the Leos Club: If you are new to WB schools this year, please check your emails. A survey was sent to this year’s new arrivals last Wednesday. The Leos are looking for your input on how they can assist new students in making a smooth transition to the middle senior high school. If you have any questions, please email Ms. O’Loughlin or stop by Room 211.
Today’s featured hot breakfast is waffles and potato wedges. Other choices include a variety of pastries, soft pretzels, uncrustables, assorted breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, yogurt parfaits and the “pick 2” snack rack. For cereal lovers, check out the new cereal varieties at the speedy cereal display in front of the milk chest.
For lunch, the hotline is serving Chicken nuggets and noodles. Pulled BBQ pork sandwiches are at the grill. The pizza line is offering French bread pizza along with a brand delicious new BBQ chicken flatbread. Freshly made grab and go’s include chicken caesar salads and wraps, Chicken bacon ranch wraps, vegetarian mediterranean wraps, bagels w/ yogurt, ham subs and uncrustables. This week’s featured salad is Fiesta Chicken with cheddar, corn and blackbeans, served with tortilla scoops and a Southwest Ranch dressing.
Please think about reducing food waste! Only take what you think you’ll eat and put unopened juice, fruit, and other sealed items in the share bins for others to enjoy.
