JUNIORS: Anyone interested in a FULL RIDE TO COLLEGE??? The Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation is offering you the chance. If you have an interest in Public policy and have an appreciation for the  values President Coolidge championed then come on down to Guidance. DEADLINE to apply is January 16

Senior Stuff

1.Remember if you have received an Acceptance please bring a copy to the Guidance office. 

2. Please make sure to be submitting pictures to yearbook members. This is your yearbook so help contribute!

3. Keep Senior Projects and Senior Research Paper due dates in mind!! 

4. Our Chipotle Fundraiser has been approved! Be sure to mark your calendars for January 4th!

5. Reminder that the Comcast scholarship deadline is December 6th! This is an easy scholarship to apply for so make sure to do so.

6. Any Senior interested in continuing education in Environmental Studies the Henry David Thoreau Scholars Foundation is offering up to $20,000.00 big ones for Tuition-Please visit Guidance for more information.

7. There are a couple of scholarships available in Guidance with upcoming deadlines. Check with guidance so you can get your paperwork in ASAP.

There will be a Christmas dance performance this Friday in the auditorium from 6-7.  It’s a Charity for Kids in the Hospital so you can bring an Unwrapped and unused toy for admission. See you there!

All gifts for the Giving Tree are due by 12/9. Remember to leave your gift unwrapped with the stocking attached to it!

The drama club is excited to announce this year's spring musical,  Chicago.   If you are interested in being part of this amazing production,  on stage or behind the scenes, there will be an interest meeting on Monday,  December 9th at 2:10 in the auditorium. Auditions for lead and ensemble roles will take place December 17th and 18th, and rehearsals begin January 6th.  Don't miss your chance to be part of something great on the WB stage!

The Debate Team had their first meet this past Wednesday at Old Rochester Regional which saw victories by every team present. Varsity Debaters Chris Nenopoulos and Elise Puliafico started the season off right with a decisive win taking the issues of Inherency, Solvency and Disadvantages. Elise and Chris also earned 1st and 2nd speaker respectively. 

Varsity Debaters Valentina Haddad and Bryanna Vilniagre got redemption after round one with a a great victory in Round 2.

Novice Debaters Gina Valante and Nevea Johhson were the only team to win BOTH rounds, the most impressive of which was Round one where they took the stock issues of Solvencey and Disadvantages. Gina spoke extremely well taking 2nd speaker over all in that round.

First time Novice debaters Aidan Culbert and Eric Briggs  are congratulated for their first W in round one.

The Debate Team looks forward to more success at the next meet on Jan 8 in Hingham. Finally a big thanks to Mr. Nenopoulos for judging and a shout out to Dylan Leonard and Matt Wright Repping the Debate team at the Super Bowl tonight - Go get ‘em boys!
