January 6th- Welcome Back
CONGRATULATIONS FOR ACCEPTANCES:
James Piesco: UMASS Amherst Honors College and University of South Carolina Honors College
There will be a mandatory ski club meeting on Wednesday during PB in the auditorium. All ski club members are expected to attend and attendance will be taken.
Video Club is cancelled today and will resume next week. Again, no video club today.
Senior Stuff
1.Remember if you have received an Acceptance please bring a copy to the Guidance office.
2. Please make sure to be submitting pictures to yearbook members. This is your yearbook so help contribute!
3. Keep Senior Projects and Senior Research Paper due dates in mind!!
4. Please check your College Portal’s on an ongoing basis for your application status. If something is missing please go to Guidance ASAP for assistance-don’t wait on it.
7. If you already know where you are going to college, please email the college to Isabella or Maggie! This is for a project to decorate the senior lounge.
8. A reminder that Senior Ball this year is on Friday the 13th...of March.

The high school math club will meet after school today in Mrs. Graziano’s room until 2:45. The next math competition will be on Thursday after school at Southeastern Voke.
The Wildcat Cafe would like to welcome everyone back with crispy chicken patties, both original and spicy, on the hot line today. Burgers and hotdogs are at the grill and the pizza station is serving Big Daddy’s cheese pizza. The featured grab and gos this week are chicken bacon ranch wraps and a chicken fiesta salad bowls. Ham and cheese croissants with tots, assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries are available at break.

The boy's indoor track team notched its first win of the season last Friday, 61-37 over Tri County. Also, during the break two WB athletes set indoor all-time school records, at the holiday challenge in Boston. Landon Crowley sped to a time of 36.74 for 300 meters, while Jack Zygeil high jumped 5'9" and long jumped 20'3". Two records in one meet! Jack then further improved the high jump record to 5'10" last Friday. Finally, at the Freshman/Sophmore meet yesterday, Madsen Anderson won a 7th place medal, clocking a time of 4:55 for the one-mile run.
WB girls track team faced off against Tri-County and Malden Catholic over break and won both meets! This 4-0 undefeated group of superheroes had many highlights from this meet: Captain Caitlin Kaprelian took 1st in the 2 mile with a time of 13:21. Both relay teams took 1st. 4x2 team included Talia Donahue, Grace Schnell, Sophie Busa and Kylie Lewis. 4x4 team included Lauren Mitcheson, Ellie Smith, Adi Hohengasser and Lexie Levine. Captain Mitcheson had an incredible split of 65 seconds. Captain Anna Trott finished 1st out of all competitors from all schools in both the long jump and 55 hurdles with a 15’3” jump and a time of 10:27. Anna also took 1st in high jump in both meets with a jump of 4’6”. Captain Ellie Smith smoked the competition also finishing first above all else in the 1 mile with a time of 5:41. Lexie Levine was new to shot put and took 1st place, Captain Maggie McCafferty also walked away with shot put varsity points from both meets. Kate Remy took 2nd in both long jump and high jump. Grace Schnell finished 3rd in long jump and Talia Donahue 3rd in high jump. Lexi Levine won 1st in the 300 with a time of 48.5 and Kylie Lewis also walked away with varsity points. Lauren Barry finished 2nd in the one mile. The 1000m was dominated by Adi Hohengasser who finished 1st with a time of 3:40, Madyson May 2nd and Elizabeth Cashman 3rd. Finally, Captain Lauren Mitcheson continued to have an incredible night finishing first in the 600 with a time of 1:49. Great job girls!!!
