The distractology mobile will be here from February 3rd-February 7th. Students can sign up for an appointment in the Main Office. There are a limited amount of spots available so sign up soon!
Hey athletes! Remember that your eligibility for spring sports is determined by your term 2 grades. If you fail more than 1 class in term 2, you cannot do spring sports. So check your aspen grades and make sure you’re passing! If not, talk to your teachers ASAP.
CONGRATULATIONS FOR ACCEPTANCES:
On Friday the boys middle school defeated New Heights Charter school 64 to 47. The Wildcats were led by Umarei Murrays 17 point performance. Colby Hackenson and Ethan Jean played strong defensively.
“The West Bridgewater Public Library is setting up a GREEN team to help students Go Renewable and Energize the Environment Now. And we are currently searching for more members from both middle school and high school students, so if you are interested in sharing information about being more climate friendly and bringing environmental issues into the spotlight or even if you just want to learn how to be more environmentally friendly then come to our next meeting. The meeting will be on Wednesday, January 15 at 6pm in the West Bridgewater Public Library”

Attention Middle School students. The phys ed department will be hosting another Hoops for Heart event on Feb 7th. If you donate $5 dollars you can come down and play some basketball games during powerblock. Check your email for details.
Power Block Yoga with Mrs Diedrichsen today is for High School Students only. You should have received a google form to sign up. Middle School students will have the opportunity to take yoga during Power Block on Thursdays. Please see the nurse if you need more information.

Girls track team put up a good fight and tied with Southeastern 50-50 at yesterday’s meet. Highlights include Captain Anna Trott with a first place finish in long jump, 2nd place in hurdles and a tie for first in high jump. Captain Lauren Mitcheson has continued to be the girl on fire and took first in the 600m with Megan Bonarrigo taking 3rd. Captain Caitlin Kaprelian took 1st in the 2 mile with Sarah Kearton finishing 2nd. Adi Hohengasser yet again finishes on top with a first place finish in the 1000, Madyson May finished 2nd and Regan Mullins in 3rd. Lexi Levine took 3rd in shot put, Lauren Mitcheson took 3rd in high jump, Joie Kennon took 2nd and Lauren Barry took 3rd in the 1 mile, Lasadia Gurley took 2nd and Grace Schnell took 3rd in the 55 dash. The girls 4x2 team comprised of Kylie Lewis, Lasadia Gurley, Madyson May and Grace Schnell took first. Awesome effort by the whole team!
In addition, over the weekend, girls Captains Ellie Smith, Lauren Mitcheson and Anna Trott competed in the Northeast Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center. Anna had a PR in high jump jumping 15-7. Lauren had a PR of 64 seconds in the 400 and Ellie had a solid time of 2:38 in the 800. Captain Landon Crowley came in 3rd out of all athletes with a time of 22.9 seconds in the 200. Jack Zygiel jumped 18-6 in long jump.
The WB boys track team lost to SE Tech Monday by a score of 70-30. There were several outstanding performances nonetheless. First-place finishers included Madsen Anderson in the 1 Mile, Chance Bain in the 2 Mile and Landon Crowley in the 55 meters. Next Monday the regular season will conclude with the league championship meet at Wheaton College at 2:30 p.m.
The WB girls varsity hoop squad defeated Diman last night 47/34. This game was a total team effort with the team playing great defense in the first half to lead the team to a 33-3 halftime lead. Sophia Florio lead the way with 14 followed by Meg Willis with 13 and Natalie Fredrickson with 6. All 8 members of the team played an exceptional game.
The Wildcat Cafe is serving Chicken and Waffles today with chicken nuggets, a fluffy waffle and curly fries on the hotline. Meatball subs and grilled cheese sandwiches are at the grill and Tony’s French bread pizza is at the pizza station. The featured grab and gos are a chicken bacon ranch salad and an Asian wrap with crunchy chow mein noodles and peapods. Warm donuts and assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries are available at break.
Mr. WB 2020 -There will be a sign up and informational meeting for seniors interested in participating in Mr. WB 2020, Thursday January 23rd during Powerblock in the auditorium.
