The Varsity boys wrapped up a win over a scrappy and competitive Diman team to take them one step closer to the state tournament. The game was a roller coaster of emotion! In the end tough team defense helped them seal the win. They will play at Sacred Heart on Wednesday
Congratulations to the Girls Hoop Team for their win over Seekonk 47/39. This marked an over point turnaround from the first meeting of the year at Seekonk. Colleen O’Toole lead the way with points and rebounds followed by Meg Wills with points and rebounds, Sophia Florio with 11 points and Dorothea McGrathe with 9 points and 8 rebounds. This would not have been a win without special efforts by Amanda Jacques who played unbelievable defense, and had to leave the game needing stitches. Not but last not least is Sr. Captain, Emma Radlinski, who came into the game and hit two critical foul shots to seal the game. Emma is the third coach on the team.
