Attention Seniors: Just a reminder that you need to come by the Guidance office to check the Scholarship table weekly. New Scholarship opportunities are coming in on a regular basis and you don’t miss out!

Middle School students: the phys ed department will be hosting another Hoops for Heart event on Feb 7th.  If you donate $5 dollars you can come down and play some basketball games during powerblock. Check your email for details.

The weight room will be open Mon-Thursday from 4-6. Open to any WB student. If you have any questions, you can email Coach Kogler, coachkogler@yahoo.com.

Juniors:   many of you still owe dues…..these have to be paid before you will be sold a prom ticket...see Mrs. Graziano or Mr Finley if you have any questions

The next Model UN meeting will be on Wednesday morning starting at 7:00 am in the Library, also we are meeting power block this Friday in the CC room.

Congratulations to our school’s Voice Of Democracy winner Eric Ames who took 1st place.  Also, congratulations to our school’s Middle School Patriot Pen winners: 1st place Kaylee  Petinelli 2nd place Noah Schneeweis, and 3rd place Lauren Holland.  

The next Spanish Honor Society meeting will be on Friday, February 7th at 7:10 am in Room 114. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Señora Oliveira.

The Wildcat Cafe is serving popcorn chicken with couscous, roasted squash and green beans on the hotline today.. Burgers and hotdogs are on the grill along with a new meatless mushroom burger. The pizza station has Tony’s cheese pizza. This week’s grab and gos include a chicken parmesan wrap and a fiesta chicken salad bowl. Warm donuts, assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries are available at break.

The Next debate team practice will be held Thursday after school in room 202

Congratulations to the Girls V Hoop Team for the 42/29 win over Blue Hills last night. This win qualified the team for the MIAA tourney. Senior Captain Meg Willis lead the way with 12 points and 8 rebounds, followed by Jr. Captain Colleen O’Toole, Sarah Corey, and Sophia Florio with 7 each. Amanda Jacques had 6 points and 5 steals. The team will not face Westport, at Westport on Wed. in a game that will determine the league championship. WB has won the league that last 9 years. Let’s keep the tradition going.

On Friday the boys middle school defeated Avon. The Wildcats Junya Field, Ethan Jean, and Noah Schneeweis led the offense.  Jamie Sheedy and Tommy Croes played solid in the 2nd half to insure the victory.

Any student interested in playing a spring sport, there will be a spring sports sign up/interest meeting on Monday, February 10th during powerblock. Meeting locations to be announced. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hammel in the athletic office.
