Attention AP Students: Final Payments are due NO LATER THAN February 28th
Anyone interested in attending PCC this summer Applications and deposit due by Feb 14th. If you need an Application or information please visit the Guidance office
Before school students should not be in the locker rooms. The only students who should be down there are student-athletes who are dropping off a bag. If you are in there for no reason there will be consequences.
CONGRATULATIONS ON ACCEPTANCES:
Attention Seniors: Just a reminder that you need to come by the Guidance office to check the Scholarship table weekly. New Scholarship opportunities are coming in on a regular basis and you don’t miss out!
Middle School students: the phys ed department will be hosting another Hoops for Heart event on Feb 7th. If you donate $5 dollars you can come down and play some basketball games during powerblock. Check your email for details.
The boys basketball team picked up another great win against Westport 71 to 67 in overtime. It took bonus minutes to win and the excitement was real as Steve Gabriel, Chase Ryan and Brett Gormley were clutch from the free throw line down the stretch. Nathan Razza and Jack Shea did a fantastic job handling the ball the entire game. Tommy Perna was clutch with some big 3 pointers for the wildcats and some huge rebounds! The boys play at home against Bishop Connolly on Friday at 3:30 and 5. Come out and cheer on the team to victory!
The Freshman team picked up a huge win last night against Westport! The defensive intensity by Kyan, Luke, and Murphy set the tone for the game. Nathan Anderson cleaned up the boards and attacked the hoop strong! Kevin Smalls lit up the scoreboard with a great bucket to seal the win!! The JV Basketball team lost a tight game to Westport last night. They played a phenomenal game as a team! They look to pick up a win on Friday during the Coaches VS Cancer game.

(2/6) The Wildcat Cafe is serving spicy or original chicken patties with fries on the hotline today. Burgers and hotdogs are on the grill and the pizza station has individual cheese pizza. This week’s grab and gos include a chicken parmesan wrap and a fiesta chicken salad bowl. Warm donut holes, assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries are available at break.
The Next debate team practice will be held Thursday after school in room 202
Any student interested in playing a spring sport, there will be a spring sports sign up/interest meeting on Monday, February 10th during powerblock. Meeting locations to be announced. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hammel in the athletic office.
February 17th is Random Act of Kindness day - to celebrate there will be a new suggestion of ideas students can do to spread kindness in our community posted on the window of the school store.
