Today is the last day for tryouts for the boys basketball team for grades 10, 11, and 12.  The tryouts will be from 2:15 to 3:45.  You must have signed up on family id and have a current physical to be able to try out.  Please see Coach Antonio, Coach C or Ms. Hammel with any questions.

If you are a high schooler interested in how the economy and stock market works there is a new club for you. The Economics and Investment Club will give you knowledge of basic economic concepts and teach you how the stock market works. If you are interested in joining this club please refer to the email Thomas Sheedy sent to all the classes about joining and additional information.

The West Bridgewater Debate Team participated in the first ever virtual debate meet for the South Eastern MA Debate league this past wednesday. The team was eager to Zoom into the debate and saw wins in both rounds. Elise Puliafico  and Chris Nenopoulos took their first win of the season for the Varsity A Negative team taking first and second speaker respectively. Meanwhile on the Varsity A Affirmative team Gina Valante and Kaytlyn Lockwood took a win in Round 2.The Novice A affirmative team was ready to compete with Jillian Cockcroft and Kate Remy winning BOTH rounds in their first debates as a team and scoring well deserved, high speaker points.Nice job to all team members who debated. Extra thanks to Mr. Nenopoulos and Mr. Corbett who gave their time to judge. The Team looks to continue their winning ways in 2021, upon return from vacation on Jan. 6th.

(12/21)The Wildcat cafe is serving french toast sticks with syrup, tots, and sausage for lunch. Individual cheese pizzas and chicken pattys are also available along with chicken caesar salads chicken caesar wraps and Uncrustables.  Strawberry yogurt smoothies, breakfast sandwiches and assorted pastries are available at break. All meals are free to every student for the entire school year!! Meals will continue to be free through June. We are all hearing how important it is to support local businesses this year. What’s more local than your very own school? Grab your free take out meals on your way out the door TOMORROW and help support WB!
