CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING STUDENT ON THEIR COLLEGE ACCEPTANCES!!!
(1/25)For lunch today, the Wildcat cafe is serving French toast sticks and potato smiles along with stuffed crust pizza and chicken fajita bowls. In addition to chicken caesar salads, chicken caesar wraps, turkey subs and Uncrustable grab and gos, the cafe is offering chicken bacon ranch wraps and salad. A chicken patty on a biscuit with tots, breakfast sandwiches, soft pretzels and assorted pastries are available at break.
Please use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance to the serving area and maintain social distancing.
Just a reminder that meals at break and lunch are free to every student for the entire school year!! We are all hearing how important it is to support local businesses this year. What’s more local than your very own school? Grab your free take out meals on your way out the door on TUESDAY and help support WB!
The boys freshman basketball team picked up a big win on Friday, against Holbrook, 43-32. Luke Destrampe and Sam Salter led the Wildcats offense, setting up their teammates and running the offense well. Aidan Mayer, Elijah Popptte, and Brayden Ross were tremendous on the boards, racking up a ton of rebounds for the Wildcats. James Legrice and Tommy Sheedy played tenacious defense creating many Turnovers and steals. The boys freshman team's next game is tonight, Monday the 25th, against Durfee at 6:30. Let's go Wildcats.
The girls middle school basketball team had another win over Holbrook on Friday afternoon to end a busy week of games. The girls’ active feet on defense kept them in the game and the confident shoting of Ariana, Mack and Sami allowed the team to keep a lead throughout the game. The girls will be back at it this afternoon against SSCA
Friday night your WB girls varsity basketball team came out on fire taking a commanding 23-3 lead over Holbrook to improve to 4-0 on the season. . Dorothea McGrath and Olivia Razza lead the balanced scoring team with 10 and 9 points respectively. Sophia Florio’s 5 steals, Jenna Jacobs strong interior defence and Kelsey Connors all around play limited Holbrook on both ends of the court. Next game is scheduled for Wednesday at 4:00
Birthdays:
The WEB girls ice hockey team played a full 60 minutes, with back and forth play. The girls continued to not let down and had many offensive chances. a WEB had a solid defensive effort, starting with goalie Sarah Eaton Unfortunately WEB lost 7-1 goal scored by Riley Bain.
The Co-op team of Bridgewater -Raynham and West Bridgewater are 2-0 on their 2021 season. BR/WB won their home meet against the team from Somerset/Berkeley with a 136.25 to 110.05. BR/WB will take on the team from Falmouth/Mashpee on Tuesday 1/26 at home.
