MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good morning, DRAMA CLUB!  Our first meeting of the season will be Monday, September 13th at 2:10 in the auditorium.  This meeting is open to all new and old students, all grades, and all talents.  Come to learn about this year’s productions, meet new friends, and get yourself on the stage.   The meeting will run until approximately 3:30 pm.  Any questions?   Please see Mrs. Brogna.  

The Learning Commons is now open during Power Block, please see or email Ms. Newell for a pass.

Looking for a place to share your thoughts about the stock market and learn to start investing? Maybe The Economics and Investment Club is for you. If anyone is interested in joining please come down to the office to get a flyer for more information.

There will be a sophomore class meeting in the Auditorium on tomorrow during Powerblock.  A representative from Jostens will be here to provide information and answer questions about class rings, as well as other products they have available.

Congrats to the WB Field hockey team on their win over BR yesterday, 5-0!  Goals scored by Olivia Razza, Rachel Smith, Emily Cruickshank, Keira O'Connell and Abby Matta. Congrats to Joelle Cameron with the shut-out!

 

The JV field Hockey won their away game with BR 3-2! Kadence Gill got one goal and Lauren Holland scored two! Great teamwork by all!

 

West Bridgewater defeated Middleboro boys soccer 3 to 0. Derek Thorburn ,Colin Shamey and Drew Raphel tallied 1 score each. Keeper Aiden provided strong play in the net with defenders Chase Ryan Randy Pratt Ryan Hulme and Ryan McGrath providing strong defense.

The varsity volleyball team defeated Cavalry Chapel Academy in 3 straight sets to win their first game of the season. (25-17)(25-17)(25-19).

Strong serving led by Hannah Smith, Brooke Robichaud, and Ava Harkins helped to set the tone.  The team as a whole had a good attack game and covered well.  

Defense was led by Madi Ellis with a strong defensive effort by Emma Marchetti.  

 

JV Volleyball won their first match of the season today vs Cavalry Chapel Academy 2-1. Serving was strong and each player added a positive effort to the game! The team faces Atlantis Charter in Fall River tomorrow.
