*GUIDANCE NEWS*

Juniors and Seniors we have some Colleges/Universities coming to visit our school. Come to look over the list that we have so far to sign up. These typically run for approximately ½ hour and you are responsible for any work missed during that time. Check Daily as schools are being added all the time.

Any Juniors interested in going to the College Fair on Friday September 24th at BR needs to let Mrs. Myers know today (Friday). If we don’t have enough students we’ll have to cancel. It’ll be for 1 hr in the morning. If you are going to the Senior Prom you’ll be unable to attend.

On September 11 we traditionally come together to remember one of the most horrific days in our nation's history.  Twenty year ago 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group Al- Qaeda hijacked four airplanes, carrying out suicide attacks against targets in our country. Nearly 3000 people were killed in these terrorist attacks. But what they failed to accomplish is to diminish Americans' resolve for service, courage, and kindness. Across the country this week  millions stand together remembering those who were senselessly killed.  We will keep in our thoughts, and in our prayers their families. We will honor the memory of our service people, and the men and women in our military who sacrifice to keep us safe.   At 8:46 a.m. which marks the moment when the first plane flew into The North Tower World Trade center we will be taking a moment of silence.

The Wildcat Cafe is serving Buffalo chicken, pepperoni and cheese pizza for lunch today along with beef and cheese nachos, chicken patties and freshly made grab and go wraps and salads. Breakfast choices include French toast with tots, soft pretzels, breakfast sandwiches and assorted pastries.

All meals are free but make sure to take at least one serving of fruit or vegetable!
