Good morning, DRAMA CLUB!  Our first meeting of the season will be Monday, September 13th at 2:10 in the auditorium.  This meeting is open to all new and old students, all grades, and all talents.  Come to learn about this year’s productions, meet new friends, and get yourself on the stage.   The meeting will run until approximately 3:30 pm.  Any questions?   Please see Mrs. Brogna. 

The Wildcat Cross Country relay team of Madsen Anderson, Ella Dunbury, and Brendan Gallivancompeted on Saturday at Highland Park in Attleboro against some of the fastest teams in the state including Quincy, Weston, and Taunton.  Each of the runners completed a one-and-a-half mile loop and together the three athletes ran a blistering pace to finish 5th out of 28 teams and earn medals for their fantastic efforts.

The girls varsity soccer team defeated New Bedford on Friday 8-1.  Amanda Jacques scored three and Natalie Fredericksen, Arianna Georgantas, Aly Bassett, Charlotte Lone each tallied one.  Rachael Geniuch, Emma Lavoieand Natalie each had an assist.  Strong defense by Talie Donahue and Mya Hebert.  Saturday they defeated Abington 6-1.  Goals were scored by Rachael Geniuch, Arianna Georgantas, Kylie Fuller, Amanda Jacques and Bryn Bouvier.  Assists by Amanda, Kylie and Eva.  Great defense by Brooke Joyce, Chloe Hulme and Emma Lavoie.

The girls Junior Varsity soccer team defeated Taunton Friday afternoon. Goals scored by Bella Morash, Jill Bouvier, Jen Lamlein, Chloe Gauthier, Neive Tarpey, Cassidy Perault, Kylie Lewis and Sophia Hulme. The girls fought hard to keep the clean sheet and held off the Tigers. On Saturday, the girls defeated Abington 2-0. Goals scored by Jill Bouvier and Alyssa Catino. Solid defensive work from Shelby Laime, Riley DaSilva, Sarah Kearton, and Caroline Auger. Sammie Morse and Kerri Gomes played well in goal, earning the clean sheet.

The Minecraft Club will have its first meeting after school on Thursday 9/16. We play all sorts of video games and will plan some cool field trips. Stop by the computer lab and see Mrs. Edgar with any questions. The computer lab is now located across from the library in the CC room.

The High School Math Club will have its first meeting this Thursday, September 16 after school in Mr. Hyde’s room.  The team will begin practicing for its first meet of the year.  The club is open to all high school students.  Please see Mr. Sylvain with any questions.

Any sophomore, junior, or senior interested in purchasing a class ring can pick up a ring information packet and order form from Mr. Winchell in Room 215.  Class ring orders will be taken on Thursday, September 23rd from 4:30-6:00pm in the lobby and during lunches on Friday, September 24th.

*GUIDANCE NEWS*

Unfortunately we didn’t have enough students signed up for the College Fair but come to Guidance and check out what schools are coming here and sign up.

Also the deadline for schedule changes has passed. 

(Sept 13) The Wildcat Cafe is serving chicken nuggets with a side of mac and cheese, burgers, and Big Daddy’s cheese pizza at lunch along with freshly made grab and go wraps, subs and salads. This week’s featured wrap is Buffalo chicken. Breakfast choices include Pancake wrapped sausage on a stick with tots, soft pretzels, breakfast sandwiches and assorted pastries. All meals are free but make sure to take at least one serving of fruit or vegetable.
