Now, you may not be aware of this, but not only do I know stuff about history, sailing, and the history of sailing, but I also am a big fan of the environment. In fact, I even won the “Environmental Science” award in high school! With that in mind, let’s all settle in for the Environmental Club’s first video of the year!

Oh man, that was some good myth-busting right there. You know what isn’t a myth? The fact that Martin van Buren was arguably the raddest American president ever. But let’s move on.
(Friday11/19) The Wildcat cafe is serving Chicken ziti and broccoli, burgers and cheese pizza for those students lucky to be here for lunch today. Freshly made grab and go wraps, salads, subs and powerpacks include an Asian chicken wrap with crunchy chowmein noodles and peapods.
Middle school students can pick up a free bagged lunch at snack today- two choices available and they all include a cookie and popcorn.
Warm donut, pretzels, smoothies and parfaits, breakfast sandwiches and assorted pastries are available at break. Don’t forget your fruit, juice or veggie!
While I have your attention, I wanted to take a minute to address some of the outrageous claims Mr. Pike made about sailboats and how “stupid” they are. Now I wholeheartedly refute this claim and he must as well, since he did join me on my sailboat a few summers ago - do we have a picture? Oh yes we do. So as you can see He appears to really have ENJOYED his time on the sailboat too - didn’t think they were so “dumb huh?” ‘
I’d also like to add that Mr. Pike is all about the environment. So I ask you, What is more environmentally friendly than a vehicle powered by the wind? Perhaps he’d rather get on a gas guzzling, smog belching, polluting motorboat? So I would ask you, before you take any maritime advice from landlubber Mr. Pike, seek me out and I will share with you the beauty and wonder of a day under sail.
