The boys basketball team played a fantastic game in the state tournament at Frontier regional on Friday night. The entire town in Deerfield came out to support the team, but they were stuck reading their newspapers as the wildcats owned the court. A huge thank you to the bench who showed up and made the gym a home court for WB. Chase Ryan shut down the 6’9” kid from Frontier, while Tommy Perna slashed and dashed to the hoop for many buckets. Ryan Hulme was such a force that the officials decided to take him out. Nathan Razza was on fire from downtown and Ryan McGrath locked up the D. Nathan “Herbie” Hancock came in strong on the defensive end and had some nice rebounds along with hitting a couple big 3’s for WB! Jacob Sousa, Tommy Sheedy, Colin Baker, and Jag Garces were totally in control dishing out assists for the maroon and white!
The boys travel to Wahconah high school on Tuesday to do it all again. Please see Ms. Hammel or Mr Antonio if you want to get on the fan bus. Great job WB Boy’S Hoop and the dedicated fan section “the bench”. You rule!
Junior Prom Tickets go on sale next week! They will be sold March 14th - March 18th during Powerblock in the STEAM COMMONS. Tickets are $55/person or $110/couple. All students purchasing a ticket will receive a Permission Slip that must be turned into Mr. Finley or Mrs. DeSimone by March 22nd.

(3/7)The Wildcat Cafe is serving Spicy and Crispy breaded chicken fillets on a bun, burgers and Big Daddy’s pizza for lunch along with a variety of freshly made grab and go wraps and salads. This week’s special is an Asian wrap with crunchy pea pods and chow mein noodles.
Warm donuts, ham and cheese croissants with tots, breakfast sandwiches, soft pretzels and assorted pastries are available at break. Remember that meals are only free when you take at least one fruit, veggie or juice.
