\r\nAttention High School Students and Staff - the Photo Club is hosting a school wide Photo Contest. The contest is open to all high school students and is looking for your photographs. The Photo club is looking for student entries especially as we have several staff who have already submitted!\r\nEntries are limited to one photo per student/staff. Deadline to turn in images has extended through Tuesday May 10th. Please email images or drop off prints to Mr. Ennis by Tuesday May 10. Photos will be hung in the green commons starting the week of May 16th and High School Students/Staff will vote via Google Form on their favorite. There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize. \r\nThe French Honor Society is collecting donations for the Haitian Health Foundation. Seniors can receive 1 hour of community service for every 2 items donated. Some suggested items include creamy peanut butter, canned tuna, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes and new/gently used soccer balls. Members of the French Honor Society will collect items from Powerblocks. Donations can also be dropped off in Room 214. The last day of the collection drive is May 9.
\r\nDo you like arguing about the current issues of the day? Do you want to gain valuable speaking and research skills? Do you want to go toe to toe with debaters from across the south shore? If so, come to room 202 after school on Tuesday May 10 to see what the Debate Team is all about. Mr. Ennis is looking for students interested in joining the Debate team for the 2022-2023 season. The meeting will be purely informational and you can hear from current team members as well. Please see Mr. Ennis with any questions.
\r\nFor their 8th grade Civics Project Maggie and Melody are doing a raffle for a $20 Tom and Jimmy's gift card. Entries are $1 and should be given to Mrs. Diedrichsen in the nurse's office. The raffle winners will be announced on May 15th. All proceeds are going towards food for the animals at Winslow Farms.
\r\nVolunteer Opportunity: The fourth annual “river walk” on river street, is scheduled for June 5th, from 10am-2pm with a rain date of June 12th. There are lots of events scheduled as well as entertainment. We are in need of some volunteers who could earn community service hours to help set up, run activities and assist in the day running smoothly.

\r\n(5/9) The Wildcat Cafe is serving crispy or spicy chicken fillet sandwiches, burgers and Big Daddy’s cheese pizza today for lunch. Freshly made grab and go wraps, salads and power packs include this week’s special of buffalo chicken wraps and salads, a turkey BLT wrap and a charcuterie box with meats, cheese, fresh fruit and crackers. Ham and cheese croissants, donuts, pretzels, egg sandwiches, uncrustables, yogurt parfaits, cereal, smoothies and assorted pastries are available at break. Don’t forget to take at least one serving of veggies or fruit at each meal.
