 Freshman, if you are interested in running for class office next year, the Class of 2026 Elections will be taking place on Monday, September 19th to select the class officers for this school year. If you are interested in running, please see Mrs. Longo in room 203 for more information.

Hey buckaroos, did you know that the Environmental Club will be having signups after school this thursday in room 217?  Well, now you do!  That’s thursday at 2:05 in Mr. Pike’s room for anyone interested in the Environmental Club!

\r\n

Seniors: The yearbook has extended the sign up period for Lifetouch photos through the end of this week, 9/15. Please email Mrs. DeLorenzo or sign up in the office before this date. Every student that signs up gets 2 poses taken by Lifetouch FREE OF CHARGE. WIth the free option your photo is taken and submitted to the yearbook by Lifetouch. This guarantees that your Senior photo will be submitted to the yearbook in time for the deadline.

The Best Buddies club is looking for you!  If you missed the first info meeting, it’s not too late!  Please meet our officers, advisor, and other students with interest in forging meaningful friendships with students with and without cognitive and physical disabilities.   The next meeting will be Thursday, September 12th during power block in room 222.  We will be planning our first meet-and-greet with our buddies and discussing officer positions.  Join us and be part of a fresh and exciting new club.  Any questions, please see Mrs. Brogna!

Video Club

Attention Spanish Honor Society! Our meetings this year will be held the last Thursday of every month at 7:05 AM. Please bring your $10 dues to our first meeting on September 29th. 

\r\n

Student Council will have their first meeting this Thursday during Powerblock! All high school students are welcome to attend.

\r\n

Attention Model United Nations – We will be meeting this Friday during power block in the Learning commons.  Any student grades 9-12 wishing to explore who we are can attend.  

\r\n

Attention Drum Circle – We will be meeting next Friday, September 23 in the music Room during power block. 

\r\n

Enjoy the rich culture, hospitality, and great food at the Greek Festival taking place at the Brockton Annunciation church beginning today through the weekend.   

\r\n

The Boosters are in need of volunteers for their annual Car Wash which is being held on Saturday, October 1st from 12pm to 3p.   Please come by the main office to sign up to volunteer!

\r\n

Remember, tonight is Class Ring Night.  If you’re a sophomore, junior, or senior interested in purchasing a class ring, come out tonight from 5-6pm.  Students are welcome to order online as well.  Please see Mr. Winchell in Room 215 if you need an information packet.

BSU is looking for volunteers to help out with Autumn-Fest on September 23rd and 24th.  These hours can be used towards your required community service hours.  If you are interested, please inform Mrs. MacMillan in Guidance so that she can forward you the email detailing the information.

Remember to sign up for the upcoming college visits.  You must sign up two days in advance to each visit.  The sign-up form is in Guidance.

If you signed up for Fridays college visits, please come to the office today to pick up your Guidance pass.

(9/15)Today’s featured hot lunch is a chicken fajita rice bowl with your choice of toppings. Steak and cheese subs are at the grill and the pizza station is serving stuffed crust pizza.  The two display fridges have a variety of grab and go wraps, salads, uncrustables and subs. This week’s featured wrap is Buffalo chicken.

Today’s snack menu is funnel cakes, soft pretzel sticks, smoothies, parfaits, cereals and assorted pastries. An assortment of egg sandwiches and uncrustables can be found on the new breakfast cart. 

\r\n

All meals are free but you must have money on your account for extra items. There is a $2.00 charge for a second entree. Money must be brought to the cafe in the morning or given to the cashier after students go through the line!
