“Attention all students:

\r\n

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Día De Los Muertos, the Global Citizens Club is creating a community ofrenda in the orange commons. An ofrenda is an altar that is constructed in memory of our loved ones who have passed on. If you would like to place a memory of a beloved person in your life who has passed on, we are asking for your assistance with decorating the ofrenda.  Beginning next Monday, 10/17, through the end of the week, you will be able to place an item on the ofrenda in their memory.  Nothing of value, please!  It could be a framed picture or something that represents a favorite pastime, such as a baseball hat or a game. In addition, we are also accepting donations to assist with the construction. Some donations could include wrapping paper, tissue paper, string, fake candles, boxes, flowers, and any other Día De Los Muertos decorations. If you have any questions you can email Mrs. Fougere or Mr. Ennis.”
