Ms. Hammel is also looking for people to sell tickets at the football games on 10/28. You will receive community service hours! See Ms. Hammel in the Athletic Office if interested.

We will be holding our WB Winter sports student interest meetings on Tuesday, November 8th during Powerblock(10:30AM) Stay tuned for information on the location of the meetings.

Winter sports will begin on Monday, November 28th.

The girls JV soccer team defeated Thayer Academy 3-0 Friday afternoon. Ava O’ Neil, Jill Bouvier, and Brooke Ryan each scored 1. Mackenzie Ryan and Sophia Hulme each had 1 assist. Sarah Florio recorded her 4th shutout of the season. The girls were able to shut down the Thayer offense quickly and keep the ball in their end. The girls play today at 4pm at Abington.

Boys varsity soccer defeated Avon 9-0 on Saturday. Jamie Sheedy had 1 goal and 2 assists; Drew Raphel had 2 goals; Ben Fuller had a goal and an assist; Derek Frederickson had a goal; and Noah Schneeweis, Niko Perdomo, Aidan Mussari and George Baroud all scored their first varsity goals. Goalkeeper Ben Stapleton also earned his first varsity shutout. The boys play at Abington tonight at 5:45 pm.

Varsity volleyball clinched the league title by defeating Holbrook in 3 straight sets in Friday.  25-22, 26-24, 25-21.  This is the first league title for volleyball and it was done by going 8-0.

Hannah Smith was 7 for nine in serving, 14 for 18 attacks with 6 kills. Alexa Gately went 4 for 6 serving with 2 aces, 12 for 17 attacks with 3 kills.  Jenella Jacobs went 10 for 11 serving with 4 aces and 15 for 21 in attacks with 4 kills. Ariana Lone was 5 for 5 in attacks with 1 kill.

Ava Harkins was 13 for 16 serving with 9 aces, 16 for 21 attacks with 7 kills and 8 assists.

Brooke Robichaud was on fire going 24 for 25 serving with 10 aces, 13 for 16 attacks with 5 kills and 15 assists.  

\r\n

The lady wildcats are home on Tuesday against Dighton-Rehobeth and then SENIOR NIGHT on Wednesday against Norfolk Aggie.
