\r\nNext week starting on Thursday the Société Honoraire de Français will be joining the American Association of Teachers of French in promoting the twenty-third annual National French Week. This week-long celebration of all things French will take place in schools and communities and AATF chapters across the U.S. Each day we will be hosting various French-themed activities for students and faculty. Also starting Thursday, French Trivia will be emailed to you every morning for a chance to win a $25 Amazon Gift card. And during power block we will be hosting a school-wide scavenger hunt where the winner will be awarded a $50 Amazon Gift card! Finally, we will be streaming the French version of the Disney Film “Ratatouille” in the auditorium each day during Powerblock. Please check your emails to sign up for the scavenger hunt and to watch the movie during PowerBlock. You MUST sign up in advance in order to participate. Both students and teachers are welcome to participate.
\r\nThe Best buddies of WB is a team of students with and without disabilities forming positive relationships and getting to know each other. We meet weekly during power block and half-days for crafting, games, food and fun. It's not too late to join! Please learn more today at power block in room 222. The Lions Club is looking for student volunteers for the craft fair on Saturday, November 12 to load and unload trucks. Volunteers are needed from 8 to 10am and/or 3 to 5pm. These hours can be used for community service.

Attention all students:
\r\nIn honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and Día De Los Muertos, the Global Citizens Club has created a community ofrenda in the orange commons. An ofrenda is an altar that is constructed in memory of our loved ones who have passed on. If you would like to place a memory of a beloved person in your life who has passed on, we are asking for your assistance with decorating the ofrenda. All students and staff are welcome to place an item on the ofrenda in memory of a loved one. You may place items through the end of the week. Nothing of value, please! It could be a framed picture or something that represents a favorite pastime, such as a baseball hat or a game.

Volunteers are needed during parent teacher conferences. Students would help parents find classrooms. Conferences are on Friday, November 18th 12-2 pm, Monday, 11/21 5-7pm and Tuesday, 11/22 4-6pm. Please contact Mrs. DeLorenzo or Mrs. Flynn in the main office. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours.
\r\nThe great Mohamad Ali once said“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” What better way to pay your rent than to bring in can goods for the West Bridgewater Food pantry. Bring Non-perishables in from now until November 9th. Drop off in your powerblock.

\r\nLunch today is a variety of Original pizza, nachos and chicken patties. The display fridges have a variety of freshly made grab and go wraps, salads and uncrustables. This week’s featured wrap and salad is Buffalo chicken. Warm donut holes, scrambled eggs and corn muffins with tots, pretzels, assorted pastries, cereals, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies are available at break.
\r\nAll students can get 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch each day. Addition items and second meals can be purchased with account money. Students, please bring in money owed for a la carte items to the cashier in the morning.
