Skiers and riders, you will be leaving after your exams at 11:00 so be sure to get back to the school by 1:30. You don’t have to bring your stuff in the morning if you will have access to it before our departure at the end of the day.

ENVIROMINUTE> Have you ever noticed how clear winter nights seem to be colder than cloudy ones? It's all about the clouds. During the day, the ground warms up by absorbing energy from the Sun. At night, that heat is released from the ground into the atmosphere. If it's cloudy, the clouds act as a blanket that traps heat. But on clear nights, the heat escapes easily back into space. And so we end up freezing!
\r\nThat's also the reason why deserts have such hot days and cold nights. No clouds means the temperature drops dramatically at night. Speaking of deserts, have you ever heard of a sand cat? They live in the desert, and are easily one of the world's most adorable creatures.
\r\nOk that'll do it for me. Good luck on exams everyone. I'm Victoria, and that's an Environmental Minute!
